"She found a way to his heart; he knows he'll never touch the ground."

This is the latest poem-painting completed. It features an excerpt from a poem written in 2006.

"We were born so fortunate, but became spoiled stars lost in the great sky."

This poem is excerpted from a journal dating to 2005-2006. The painting was completed April 16th, 2016.

"TIME IS SOMETHING WE CAN ONLY TRY TO KEEP. UPON OUR WRIST, OR ON A WALL. BUT EVEN SO, IT WILL ALWAYS FALL. SO WANDER NOW, AND WANDER WELL. BECAUSE THE WORLD WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN AND FELT."

This is an excerpt from a poetry video, created in 2014.

"Eve ebbs with the tide and resides beyond my mind."

"Now, untie the knots, unbind the rope, unravel the threads: She's found my heart."

This is an excerpt from a entry in a journal fall of 2015. The painting was completed throughout April, 2016.

It was the first time I combined the gouache background, splattering, central figure and poetry in one piece. It took several attempts and experiments to develop this format.

Materials: gouache paint, acrylic paint, ink, colored pencil, on 8x10 inch paper
